Well-well, look who’s writing now

Well-well, 10 months have gone without a word, without a single letter on the blog. But now, something is in the air. Actually, my whole life is.

It’s not easy, to put it on the table, so let me just say it out loud.

Divorce, and the full package, as one should. So, interesting times behind, exciting times ahead.

Rebuilding

Or rearranging, rather. The blocks are there, but have fallen apart. So the new thing is coming from the same package, but it will be something different. I am rebuilding myself from scratch, but I can’t forget and leave out the bricks from the previous couple of years. And, talking about bricks…

Jenga.

Everything goes all right, until you pick and pull the one that demolishes the whole tower. The blocks are on the ground, you start from almost the beginning, but everything is there for you to build something completely different. And that is what’s happening with me. One little brick in the wall decided to move, and it changed everything.

So, just before I turn 50 (next December), I have the chance to restart the whole thing that is my life.

The full package?

The thing is, these changes reach out to other areas of my life. Personal, you can imagine, but also, the professional side. The situation is kind of the same there, too. No week without changes. The whole sector is in motion, and my role with it.

What now?

Now is the time to do things I haven’t done for ages, or have been on the verge of doing it for ages or have been on the plans to do for ages.

Why now?

Rearranging the bricks is an exciting path, especially around 50, packed with a funny mid-life crisis, the changes in the way I see my past and myself, and all that comes with it.

But make no mistake. This is an opportunity. An opportunity of a lifetime. Rearranging myself, from thought to thought, cell to cell, brick by brick.

What changes now?

New life. New structure. New me. Blah-blah.

More of the professional side, more exposure, more EdTech, more on how to build something.

So, content like leadership, management, my struggles, wins and losses at the office, market, educational strategy, it will be here.

All of it, with a pinch of the personal life. Divorce, separation, running a household alone, keep the flow, managing three children and a new setup with co-parenting.

All that marinated in (almost) 50 years of experience.

What doesn’t?

The passion. The love. The three children. Manutd.

Scary, though. A bit. Don’t you think?
